An aggressive right-handed batsman, Khan played for the India Under-19 cricket team at the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In 2015, he was signed up for Rs. 50 lakh by the Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore and is the youngest player to play in the IPL.
